Very nice for the price!Nov 27, 2010
By Brooklyn I purchased this watch from a local jewelry store. The movement is a good deal for the price. Swatch is the parent company of Tissot. They also own ETA, the largest producer of Swiss ebauches. It is little wonder that they packed a powerful movement inside an economical package.
The movement is robust enough for a fashion chronograph, but if you are looking for a watch to keep serious lap times etc, there are better movements out there made by ETA for this purpose. As a fashion piece, this works perfectly.
I am not sure how the previous reviewer could be upset about having to cut a rubber strap on a watch. How else would you size a rubber strap? Any good jeweler will do this for you with your purchase.
As an inexpensive, everyday watch, this performs amiably and I have received as many compliments on it as my automatics that cost ten times more!
It is also surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend, if this is your style. It certainly may not appeal to some, since it is large and bulky, nearly half an inch protruding off the wrist. For me, it is great!

Buen RelojAug 03, 2011

Nice watch, but...Mar 19, 2010
By Daniel B. Zalesnik It's a beautiful watch and I would have like to have kept it. But in my opinion if you are spending $500 for a Swiss made watch you should not have to take the wrist band apart and use a pair of scissors to cut the band to fit your wrist. That little aspect of the watch was conveniently left out of the description. Tissot needs to rethink its cut your own wrist band and possibly screw up your $500 watch in one quick flick of the scissors philosophy.
