Tissot ReviewSep 21, 2008
By Robert W. Canoy Jr.

Good Product here, well worth the low price tag. I cannot think of another watch with a genuine swiss ETA 2824 automatic movement that is in this price range. Tissot has always to my knowledge made good products. Sapphire scratch free crystal is a huge plus.
Keeps pretty good time for an auto, mine gains probably a couple minutes every few weeks when left on a winder.
-Downsides, The band is not very thick and is pretty flimsy. Not a heavy substantial feeling watch, but if you like a light watch then this could be a plus. At 36mm case diameter it is definetely a smaller watch compared to the growing trend for these humongous 47mm+ dive watches. But there is no mistaking that this is anything but a dress/casual watch.
It is at 50ATM of water resistance what I would call splash proof, as in immune to rain splashes, and kitchen sinks for hand washing, but I would not fully immerge this watch or shower with it on. If you are wanting something to swim or shower with then you'll need to go with a dive watch.
Conclusion: FOR THE MONEY I give this product five stars. Its a well built case and very sharp looking. The swiss ETA movement means the second hand sweeps around the dial very smooth. The second hand sweep on this watch is about as smooth as a rolex sub. If you are looking for an entry level swiss auto then this is the watch for you.

Hmm.. let's see:
Swiss 25-jewel ETA 2824-2 automatic movement
Scratch-resistant SAPPHIRE crystal
Tissot name you can trust
Swiss Made
5-year warranty
Where else are you going to find a real Swiss-made automatic watch for $160? The fit and finish of this watch is on the exact same level as that of my $1500 Omega Aqua Terra. Trust me you are not going to find another Swiss-made watch with a sapphire crystal and automatic ETA movement for this price anywhere.

Great watch, lousy braceletDec 10, 2007

Excellent watch with a good crystal, easy to read display, and a very classic look.
The bracelet is fairly low quality though, and scratches easily. Expect that you'll replace the bracelet with something else. I have punished mine substantially. The watch itself looks great, and the bracelet, well, not so great.

Awesome...for the priceNov 06, 2006
By J. Gautier The only real complaint that I have about the watch is that the band is kinda' noisy.
That being said, you can't beat a real Swiss automatic with sapphire crystal for this price.

Great WatchDec 09, 2008

This is a great watch for the price. It looks good and it keeps time fairly well. It is off by about 7 seconds fast each day. That is not bad for an automatic watch. It is hard to find a swiss made watch with an automatic movement at this price. The problem is that it is getting hard to find at this price.
