5Elegant and Sporty in OneJan 15, 2009
By NYCer
This is an excellent watch. It's sporty yet sophisticated in one. The band is brushed steel with no polish -- that makes it more scratch resistant but not as shiny as some other steel bands. However, the beautiful link design more than makes up for the lack of shine. The best part is the actual watch face. The sapphire crystal reflects the innerworkings of the black dial and the chronograph in a very intricate way, inviting curious admires to gaze in to its organized complexity. The chronograph is operated in a standard way without too much difficulty.

The double-safety clasp may take some time to get used to. Read up on this if you can't figure it out, because you don't want to scratch it before you've even worn it!

5THe best in Watches is TAGJan 01, 2009
By DC Maxx "Wood"
Got this watch a s a replacement for a Seiko Chronometer whose water resistant gasket gave out. It was ~1400 or so 4 years ago. Since then I have only had to have it serviced once (battery replacement) . Make sure you go to an Authorized TAG dealer for any service. Crystal stands up to everything-Yachting 50 miles off the East Coast. To lounging in the Jacuzzi by the deck and everything in between. I only have 2 watches now. This and a Movado Gold.

4Nice watch indeedNov 17, 2009
By Serdem
I bought this watch 2 weeks ago. I checked the item at Macy's before I processed the order. It is a really nice watch and comes with a discount of $900 over Macy's price tag which is awesome too. The watch was delivered in a nice leather box and empty warranty card, since it has Amazon warranty on it (not Tag Heuer's). Everything was great till I realized that 1/10th sec chronograph hand did not move at all. Unfortunately, I had to ship back the watch, Amazon covered all the shipping+insurance expenses as the item has a defect, definetly good customer service, but I'm kind of upset from this experience, because Amazon ran out of the inventory at the moment and now it is being sold through Amazon marketplace with a slighty higher price tag. I guess I need to wait till the end of the holiday season to buy the same watch through Amazon or any other reputable seller.

4So far so goodJan 22, 2007
By Julian Gutierrez Gomez "DeeJayUND"
I'm pretty happy about the watch so far. It's my 3rd TAG, and the other two still work great, even though I bang them all up pretty good. I don't think anybody could ever say something bad about a TAG, can they? They run forever, they look good and they're pretty sturdy. The price was great, specially considering that I'm a European buyer and the final price in Euros was less than half what I would have paid here!

5The Best Watch I've EVER OwnedJul 14, 2011
By M. Howell
I have had this watch since October of 2004. It has performed FLAWLESSLY. I absolutely love it. I have worn it every single day since the day I bought it. I just recently sent it to Tag to have routine maintenance and cleaning done to it. Their customer service is second to none.

This watch is durable and sporty enough to wear while active and casual, yet elegant enough to wear to a formal event or wedding.

Tag makes an expensive watch, but the movement is precise and accurate. The crystal is real saphire and scratch proof. I have owned some cheaper watches that broke, cracked, or just stopped working. This watch will pay for itself over time.

I plan on giving it to my son (he's 3 years old right now) when he turns 18. When that happens, I'll surely buy another one like it.
