This watch is sweet, Tag lives up to it's reputation, good looking, very reliable, excellent craftsmanship, it is almost like wearing a piece of jewelry, received compliments already, pictures do not do the watch justice. Plus it is more adjustable than most bracelet watches. A purchase you will not regret. A lifetime watch!!

TAG Heuer is Quality WatchesJul 11, 2010

First of all I have to say I didn't buy the watch on amazon, but I really wanted to review this watch. I collect watches and since five years ago I have been watching different watches and I really like Tag Heuer Watches, first because they offer quality watches at lower prices than other makes, second the watches are really complete when we talk about functions, for example this Tag Heuer Formula 1 offers 200m water resistance with screwed crown and caseback, sapphire crystal, unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 positions(clicks) offering better precision on time measurement and 1/10th second chronograph, making this one a very complete sports watch with the advantage that you can use it on a casual or formal occasion(of course the black dial fits better for the last one). I have been using this watch for 2 months and I don't have any negative comments, the sapphire crystal is clear as new, the rotating bezel doesn't have any scratch on it(after I hit with a wood chair and the chair has a big scratch on it), the chronograph works perfect, everything is fine as new. The quality of the finishes is incredible, all the indexes, sub dials, Tag Heuer logo, all the dial components are perfectly done. Other thing that deserves compliments is the Tag Heuer inscription on the left side of the case, is beatiful and the letters are perfectly done. If you want a quality watch at an "affordable" price this is an excelent watch. On the other hand the materials used on the crown and the roating bezel(titanium carbide coating) seems to be very scratch resistent. Another plus is the fact that the numbers on the bezel are not painted, they are made with stainless steel as the Tag Heuer logo on the crown. The last thing I have to say, its just my opinion, the stainless steel bracelet is the right choice, I have the rubber one too but I've never used it.
If you have the chance to go and see the watch on a retail store do it, believe me the pictures don't make justice to this watch, when I saw this picture I couldn't believe the difference, the watch is much more pretty than what you can see on the article picture. The price is really good but I bought it on a retail store because I wanted the 2 years International Tag Heuer Guarantee.

I thought it would be too good to be true, but it is!!!! I would recommend this to anyone who is Worried about online shopping. They send you email confirmation, Then amazon sends you one! It's great! Took 2 extra days to get here with the overnight shipping but it was worth it! I will shop Amazon/jomashop again!

I saw the newly redesigned Tag Heuer Formula 1 advertised and liked the look. I found one locally and tried it on, liked it and purchased it. The details of the watch are well done. The face is nicely laid out and legible. You can do split times and lap times pretty easily although I still like a digital stop watch for this function.
I like the main body of the watch - nice and chunky - well made. The strap is something else. It seems too lightly made for the watch itself. This is in comparison to my Omega Seamaster (which, in quartz version can be had for about $200 more) which has a band and clasp that are roughly 50% heavier made. It just feels much more substantial than the Tag band. The plus for the Tag band is the safety clasp which looks as if it will keep the Tag more secure if banged or jarred while doing any kind of active sports.
Overall, I really like the watch. I do, however, think it is a bit overpriced compared to comparable quality watches.
