2not as advertisedMay 10, 2010

This is a Quartz watch. NOT swiss automatic as listed in the description. If you're looking for a good battery powered watch, there are many in this price category I'd choose over this.
Sure, it's pretty.

I bought this for my wife for Mother's day as a gift from the kids. Everyone was so excited except myself to see it runs on quartz, similar to a $50 watch from a department store.

3Love the watch, but it's too big of a purchase to do it onlineApr 30, 2010

I did some research and decided to buy this watch. Amazon had the best price and it was a savings of a couple of hundred dollars compared to a local jeweler. However, when I received the watch, I couldn't set the time. I tried unscrewing the crown, but could not get it to budge. I used a pair of needle nosed pliers to try to move it and I accidently pulled it off! My husband took the watch to a local watch maker who stated the watch had to be defective, there was no way I could have pulled it off otherwise. Amazon has a 30 day return policy so I have no problem with Amazon or the watch. Sometimes online purchases work out, but in this case it didn't. My husband ended up buying me the watch from the local jeweler. Now I have a 2 year warranty and can take it to them for service. To me, that was worth the extra couple of hundred dollars. So, get this watch, but buy it from a local dealer and save your online purchases for smaller items.

1Beware: Not AutomaticJun 27, 2010

Good day. I have been searching for a small, plain, diving, rotating bezel, automatic watch. I found this on Amazon and purchased it. It is pretty and a good price for a Tag quartz (battery powered) watch.

This watch is not automatic as advertised. The box and paperwork are clearly marked for quartz watches, so I don't understand how Amazon could have made this advertising mistake. I had returned the watch.

I had purchased the watch just prior to the 1st comment listed regarding misleading advertising. I notice 1.5 months later that the watch is still listed as automatic so I decided to add a similar comment in hopes that Amazon will correct their advertising.
