Simple, reliable, nice-looking watchAug 22, 2009
By gregory Bought this watch four months ago from amazon for 770$. The price is higher now, but I'd say that it's worth up to 1000$. It looks better than the picture on this site suggests. In the picture, the dial is a light pastel blue, but in reality the dial is a much darker(and much more attractive) shade of blue. The contrast of the gold and blue, which originally attracted me to the watch, remains a lot of fun to look at. However, the bright coloring makes the watch tough to pull off with formal dress and possibly "flashy" in the eyes of some. It's appropriate in 90% of situations but not a do-it-all watch(not that I expected it to be one).
I've taken it diving down to 100 feet with no problems. The dial is sapphire and has withstood some hard bumps without a scratch. The gold-plated part of the bracelet has a few scuffs, but I expected this because gold is very soft. In any case, it's not very noticeable and adds some character to the watch.
Functionally, it's very easy to change the date and time. It's also easy to read the dial. This is thanks to the simple but well-engineered design.
Overall, there are more expensive makes of watch out there, but if you're not looking for attention, this is a reliable and fun watch that will serve you well in most contexts(save for something like a black tie dinner) for decades.

Started at 785 on amazon, now its at over 900 USDJul 10, 2009
By Jinu Johnson just wanted to let anyone who wants to buy this watch know that the price of this watch was around th 780 mark a month or so back and since then its skyrocketed to 900 plus. If you want to buy this watch, wait for a while till the price comes down to its original or go for another brand and/or model.

Happy with TagNov 07, 2007

The colours of the dial and bracelet are what attracted me to this watch, and it looks every bit as impressive on my wrist as it does in the picture. I wanted something that would stand out, and the Aquaracer meets that requirement. It doesn't look too large on my wrist. So far it's been great and I am glad I decided to buy it.
