Solid Office WatchJun 11, 2010

I've been looking for a light weight, professional and not boring watch to wear to the office. I'm not really a watch guy, so it needed to have:
1. Low weight
2. Comfortable Strap (nit-picky comment: since it is leather, it is very malleable and I've put some crease marks in it already)
3. Easy to read
4. Been a bit stylish (since I work in the kind of place that matters)
This has all of those things AND to boot is obvious in adjustment (I haven't even looked at the manual). Nice cheap price, too.
I absolutely recommend this.

I saw this Skagen men's watch on another website, but was told to check Amazon. The watch was listed (on the other site) for $245.00 plus shipping. I found it on Amazon for $147.00 plus shipping...an incredible savings. Not only that, I received it the next day and didn't pay extra for fast delivery. That sealed the deal for me and gave me the confidence to deal with Amazon from now on. BTW, my husband loves the watch. It is elegant, but manly, as well as beautiful and classy, which is what Skagen is all about in my opinion. Many thanks to Amazon and Skagen!!

While this watch looks very nice, the one I received did not work. It was delivered new with a defective crown. The crown can only extend to one position not two. This allows setting the time but not the date. It's a frustrating type of defect since you are left struggling with the crown, trying again and again to find the "middle" setting when the crown is just badly manufactured. I expected a lot more from Skagen in terms of product quality. After I return this, I'd like to find a watch that looks very similar but is manufactured with higher quality standards.

I bought this watch when my hubby said he wanted something new for the office but that was not bulky or chunky and get caught in his sleeve. It was Perfect and by far the best buy for its looks. I even paid $100 less than the dept. store price.
