VERY subtle and understated.Jun 12, 2007
By Bruce Philpott The square-ish, thin case and self-mesh strap in a subtle monochrome are very dignified and elegant. This watch doesn't shout, but blends in, complimenting any clothing. When others' watches are screaming macho-ness or ostentation, this one confidently shows well-bred taste.

I'm picky and this watch is great.Mar 16, 2011
By Original KapKom I had a lot of criteria when shopping for a new watch. I'm actually writing this review to comment on the posts about not being able to change the day/month/date. This is false and you can change these. All you need to do is pull the thumb-pin out one click and keep turning. It will start to change. The date changes each 24hrs when changing the time with the thumb-pin out all the way (2 clicks). I emailed Skagen before purchasing to confirm this.
What I like...
- Square design (My preference) - It's actually hard to find square watches.
- Simple look and not "blingy".
- Hour marks to easier tell the time.
- Second hand.
- Tells the date (day, month, date).
- Light weight Titanium.
- Adjustable band. - Don't need to go to a watch repair place to remove links.
- $80 price (at the time of writing).
I've only had the watch a few days and no complaints so far.

Exactly what I wantedNov 12, 2007
By A. J. Gusek This watch looks as good as I expected, very light, very thin. I typically do not like metal wristbands as I've had issues with hairs getting pinched, but the tight mesh band on this watch doesn't do that. Frankly, I'm surprised this watch doesn't cost twice as much.

By Ski Girl Fantastic watch, great price. Just a shame I had to get it sent to an address in the USA to get it at the $89 price, instead of being able to buy direct from Amazon USA to my home address in the UK!
That said, it arrived before the ETA and is now a much loved, good looking and well priced item.

Nice WatchOct 08, 2009

The watch looks even better in person. Classic styling. Nice size, measuring 35mm wide by 45mm with band at about 25mm. Nice presence on wrist, yet light and comfortable. Quality is very good for the price. Time is very easy to read with contrasting hands. Date is difficult to read with red on black color scheme.
