 Mixed feelingsMar 07, 2010
I absolutely loved this watch except for one problem. My band started to "fray" after only about six months of wear. Of course I didn't save the documentation from my purchase, so I just lived with it. I liked the look of the watch so much that I continued to wear it for two years even though I would occassionally get a stick from the fraying edge. I just purchased anothe Skagen with the same style of band. If this one stays together, I'll be a Skagen customer for life.

i have been wearing skaagen forever it seems like; i do not have one single complaint, they look great, maintenance is practically nil, they do not cost the earth , well made. will continue to buy as long as they make them.

I have this watch.
My niece liked it, so bought her one for Christmas.
My husband then surprised me with 2 more for Christmas.(a yellow-gold tone and pink-gold tone)
My husband also has several skagen watches.

Best multi-function watch everOct 16, 2008
I was given this watch as a Christmas present two years ago. It went with me to Honduras and held up until I inadvertenly stepped on it, crushing the glass face. It was shipped to the Skagen repair center in Reno and, for a small fee, I had my dear watch repaired.
This watch can be dressed up or dressed down. I love the fact that it mixes both silver and gold, so I can wear both silver or gold jewelry. Other than damaging my watch myself, it has held up to the daily wear and tear over the past two years in Honduras without any defects or problems. The clasp is easy to put on and it never comes undone by its own means.
Furthermore, the price is very reasonable and you get a sophisticated and good quality watch to boot. I get quite a few comments on its elegance and easiness to read. I would highly recommend this watch, especially for young women transitioning into the job market or needing something a little more elegant than most watches you see on others.

Skagen watch-very comfortableAug 18, 2008
This watch is very comfortable. Despite having a small wrist, I am able to adjust it and the excess is comfortably hidden under the band. My only complaint is the watch came with no written information, warranty, specs, etc. I specifically purchased it because I need something water resistant. So far, so good, but would be nice to see it in writing.
