i like very muchJul 09, 2010 This watch is beyond nice,,, its crafted ever so elegant ... i love this watch, i am simply not a watch guy,,, but this watch changes everything...
The watch it self is very slim fits comfortably on my wrist...
color of leather was my only worry until i got it and saw that it complimented the watch and what i was wearing.
this is a good buy ,,, price is worth it ... product will stand out from the crowd, and get positively noticed
Love this watchJun 10, 2010 My wife bought me this as a wedding gift. We both looked at few other watches before settling on this and I love it. I wasn't much of a watch wearing person and the few times I did wear a watch it was a sports watch and after I got this I can't seem to leave home without this on:). Macy's was selling this for almost twice the price on amazon and it's an excellent deal. I have had it for almost a year and still love it.

Overall, disappointingApr 30, 2010 I owned this watch for 2.5 years. It is nice and slim (although not in Citizen Stilletto territory), has a nice looking dial and can be worn casually and at work. The date/week/hour little hands readout is poorly designed as the print is too small to read easily, and white-on-white hands, while attractive, lack contrast needed to tell time quickly and I often find myself doing a double-take. need a double-take. However, I this is the real reason I cannot recommend this watch: within a month of use, the watch crystal cracked with the slightest of impacts, and had to be replaced by Skagen. The band itself is very stiff (even after leather conditioner treatment) and started to discolor with use, turning a near-black shade of brown and frayed/disintegrated at clasp point after less than 8 months of use. Skagen has a ridiculous proprietary screw-down watch band system which no one else stocks and sells replacements for, and the only way to get a replacement is to fork over $35 to Skagen and wait for 2-3 weeks for them to ship you the same stiff, problematic watch band. I am toughing it out with the old watch band for now but would have not purchased the watch had I known about the proprietary watch band.
Gorgeous!!Apr 22, 2010 A classic and modern beauty. It stands out as it should, and it's a view for others and myself. Just a beautiful and useful dress watch.
I really like it!Mar 25, 2010 I wanted to buy a watch to appear more professional and time conscience. I had not worn a watch in years because i either got sweaty under the watch or it pulled hairs, etc. so i was a bit worried about if I would actually wear it once I got it. I bought it about two months ago and I wear it every day! I used the U.S. time site (time.gov) to set it when I got to work the next day and it still matches the time. I had a little bit of a problem setting the day when I first got it, but I was reading the instructions wrong and when I figured it out I felt silly. Other than that it was a breeze to set and easy to change the time at daylight savings.
Like a few other reviewers mentioned, the band was a bit stiff when it arrived, but it was in the position that it is normally worn in and not flat, so it was still wearable. When I went to close the clasp it made some creaking sounds near where the leather band attaches to the metal that I was worried about, but it has not been a problem and everything is still sturdily attached. The leather has also loosened up a bit and it is no longer hard to close the clasp. One of the other reviewers also mentioned a fish smell. I thought they were just an anomaly, but when mine arrived, it too smelled like fish. The smell has since gone away, thankfully. The crystal has held up well and is still scratch free. The metal is also still looking nice, since it has a brushed finish. The leather band has darkened slightly, but evenly and still looks nice as well.
Overall, I love my new watch!
