Looks nice, but crystal is crackedFeb 08, 2010
By David Corbitt This is my second Skagen watch and it shows the same defect my other had. Styling is great and the movement is accurate. However, the slim design makes for a weak crystal. The crystal is now cracked in a semi circular crack arcing between the 2:30 and 6:30 positions after wearing it for less than 2 months. The crystal is not covered under warranty (of course) but seems to be a common problem on Skagen watches according to reports I've read on line. Both my Skagen watches did this after less than a few months of use. I am not hard on watches and take card to not let them get struck by anything. It is such a disappointment as I really like the way the watch looks. I will never buy a Skagen again.

Excellent product, long deliveryOct 13, 2009
By Miriam Rivka Rozen I was really happy with this Skagen watch. It was for my husband's birthday (he wanted a casual watch) and he loves it. The only problem was that it took 3 weeks to receive it after I had ordered it. It actually came nearly a week later than the expected arrival date. It was also very difficult to contact the company, they did not return calls in a timely manner nor was it well trackable.
Great, classy watch.Sep 26, 2011
By Vlad Harbuz After owning this watch for a month, I can say that I'm completely satisfied with it. It's a nice, classy watch, and it's gotten me a lot of compliments.
Pros:
- great leather band (though I've heard it's difficult to replace)
- great complications, people say that they're hard to read but I haven't had this problem
- looks good as a dress watch, but can class up your casual outfit as well
Cons:
- crystal scratches easily, but you should expect it considering the price
I recommend this watch, even more so as dress watches are pretty difficult to find in this price range.
Looks great, can't read the date, strap brokeAug 16, 2011

UPDATE 9/1/11 -- the strap broke after 6 mos of use. The end of the strap came away from the watch itself -- it is not repairable. Given the teeny-tiny print of the watch face, and the strap problem, I would not buy this product again. I'm lowering my review to 1 star.
ORIGINAL REVIEW -- The watch is nice for telling time. But there are three smaller dials on it and I cannot read them at all. Yes, I wear glasses. With the glasses on I can read fine print on labels on medicine, for example -- the tiny print. The font size on the day-of-week, date in the month, and the 24-hour dial are smaller than those. In fact, I can't even tell which of the three dials is which!!
Don't buy this watch unless: you care only about the time *OR* you have the eyes of an eagle.
very pleasedJun 26, 2011
By sara I received this product promptly and it was well packaged. I really like the watch and have had no problems with it. The people who complain about it cracking very easily must treat it very badly because i accidentally hit it pretty hard against a bike rack and i only got a small scratch. I would highly recommend this product.
