The watch really does look great and is an attention grabber. Within two days of wearing it, three people commented how nice the watch looks. Setting the date takes a little while. Comfortable fit. Has a large face, which is currently in style. Only thing I don't like is that the steel backing (silver in color) makes the time hard to read in bright light. So far, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

My husband bought this watch almost a year ago. He gets many compliments on it. Its very sleek and goes with everything. He likes how lightweight and thin it is. Our only complaint is that he recently stopped wearing so that we can go get it buffed and cleaned because the metal is all scratched up. I realized this probably happens to most watches but its only been 9 months and its so bad he doesn't want to wear it. But it works great and its a very attractive watch.

Bought the watch, love the looks, keeps good time. Only annoyance is setting the date - weird combination of CW & CCW motions required - basically futz with it until you magically get the right date. Alas, you will be doing this more than once a month, it doesn't advance reliably. Other than that, a great looking and accurate watch at a reasonable price.

The watch arrived earlier than expected. My only complaint would be that it was running when I opened it. I would think it would be stopped to preserve battery life. I bought this for my husband who is super picky about watches. (His last watch was a Movado that cost more than our house payment.) He loved it! It is a great watch at a great price. Skagen makes really nice watches at an affordable price.

I was drawn to the styling and thinness of the Skagen watches and was quite happy with my watch for about 4 weeks. Then it just quit working. So, I sent my broken LL Bean watch (for which the Skagen was a replacement) back and it was replaced for free. The Skagen watch is lying in state in a desk drawer after a life of only a month. Shame on Skagen!!
