4A Honest ReviewDec 10, 2009
By The Cintroplop's
There are very few areas of the watch that i'm not too savvy about. One is that you cant turn off the beep sound when you depress the buttons, the other is that you cannot set the alarm for certain days like only weekends, or only weekdays. I guess i just got used to the little perks of a cheaper ironman.
The good stuff is plenty like everyone else has said.
I've had the watch for about 4 months now and it has no scratches on it or paint chipped off. Granted i'm not too hard on it, but i have bumped it here and there. the watch is very durable, slightly stiffer than your average watch, but maybe it hasn't been broken in yet. The solar power thing may be a gimmick (not really sure)i charged it through a window and it and the battery went to high after an hour, but back to medium 30 minutes after that. The watch also sleeps after being in the dark for a certain amount of time so that's got to prolong the battery life quite a bit. i also like that you can set the night light to turn on with out touching it (a flick of the wrist), I havent used it yet, but I probably will camping out sometime. The best thing is the fact that the time changes automatically to where you are and daylight savings etc.. (ood watch for traveling) And if your like me and you live in another time zone then your family you can set their time zone at a push of a button. not that its hard to figure out a 2 hour time difference, but hey its there if you need it. Lastly it looks cool, and apparently you can scuba dive with it. Also mine came with an extended warranty for free.
