This is a great watch for the money. I've taken it surfing a few times now -- the tide indicator works reasonably well, provided you set it up correctly (google recommended for that) -- and after simply washing away any sand or surf wax from the day, it still looks glossy and brand new. I have a few watches, some of which are exponentially more expensive than this one, but I find myself wearing this more and more (even when not doing anything that would require the G-Shock 'toughness'). It works well and just happens to look great to boot.

Nice watch. Definitely a smaller version of the G-Shock Line. It has a very glossy appearance, more glossy than the picture. The major downside are the buttons on the watch are very small, and can be difficult to use.

Old school styling, simple interface.
Shiny band, doesnt feel cheap though.
Low profile doesn't hang up in my gear when putting arms through sleeves in wetsuits, backpacks, or heavy coats.

Accurate watch to predict tides, tested in the St. Lawrence estuary, Québec. Nice look, buttons are well placed (no accidental button pressing). It would be nice to know sunrise and sunset for the next G-Lide generation.

This watch fits well, looks good, shows the moon and tide with clarity for its size. I use it for boating so that's great. Tough to hit the buttons to work any of the functions as they are small and too indented. So changing functions, using the night light, turning on and off the countdown and timers means growiing long nails and working on your precision! Very durable but the durability hurts the functionality.
