If you want your warrantee honored don't purchase through Amazon!!Dec 29, 2011

Amazon is the "seller" of these watches NOT Baume et Mercier!! A screw fell out of the link of this watch (just purchased 8months ago). I called Baume and they said if it was purchased anywhere online they couldn't honor the warranty because they do not authorize online purchase of their watches. So now I am stuck with a $2,000++ watch and will have to pay any and all repairs from here forward. If you want a Baume, suck it up and pay full price through an authorized retailer here in the U.S. amazon is great for a lot of things (and I do a lot of shopping through Amazon) but don't make this high-priced mistake! That said, it is an absolutely gorgeous watch and my husband loves it. I will update this review when I see how Amazon handles my request for a repair.
