 Awesome Watch at a Reasonable PriceJan 17, 2010
I was very "hesitant to order such an expensive watch online from Jomashop based in NY. However, I was pleasantly surprised to get this watch on time, and in new condition, at a very reasonable price. This watches looks like an $8,000 Rolex submariner. In my opinion it is better than the Rolex because it has quartz movement and no hassle maintenance (just replace the battery every few years). Tags are awesome watches. They are very reliable, accurate, and good looking. This is my 3rd Tag. My other Tags are 20 years old and still going strong and look great. If I bought the watch locally I would have had to pay another $600 for it.
I'm very happy with the purchase.

Excellent all round watch. Clear dial markings, hour and minute hands, with gold contrast to the blue background.
Unfortunately, it draws attention to itself from my friends, more than expected for a watch priced less than $1000. Less than 39mm diameter, sturdy construction, and the light weight are ideal as an all round watch, including during my tennis game. Being a diver's watch, I don't worry about weather damage to this watch.

I bought this watch on Amazon.com a few years ago.I forget what I paid for it,but whatever it was,it was worth it.I think I paid alittle over 800.00.I've skydived from 13,500' wearing this Tag and have never had a bit of trouble.Holds up very well.I've only had to change the battery once since I bought it.They wanted to send it back to the Tag Heuer company to re-waterproof it,but I didn't want it out of my sight.I've been under water alot since and haven't had a bit of trouble.It goes very well with jeans & leather jacket,as well as black tie.It's just an all around good looking good feeling about yourself kinda watch.I've got alot of watches,but this the only one I ever wear anymore.I'm still getting great comments about it.

This Aquaracer is my 5th tag, simple I love tags. First time I saw the Aquaracer at Macys, I decided to buy one, but at Amazon. I pais only 915, at Mayors 1800. it came with the Guarantee card. Two tones blue and gold make something particular, great combination for a watch. I highly recommend this watch for divers.

Simple, reliable, nice-looking watchAug 22, 2009
Bought this watch four months ago from amazon for 770$. The price is higher now, but I'd say that it's worth up to 1000$. It looks better than the picture on this site suggests. In the picture, the dial is a light pastel blue, but in reality the dial is a much darker(and much more attractive) shade of blue. The contrast of the gold and blue, which originally attracted me to the watch, remains a lot of fun to look at. However, the bright coloring makes the watch tough to pull off with formal dress and possibly "flashy" in the eyes of some. It's appropriate in 90% of situations but not a do-it-all watch(not that I expected it to be one).
I've taken it diving down to 100 feet with no problems. The dial is sapphire and has withstood some hard bumps without a scratch. The gold-plated part of the bracelet has a few scuffs, but I expected this because gold is very soft. In any case, it's not very noticeable and adds some character to the watch.
Functionally, it's very easy to change the date and time. It's also easy to read the dial. This is thanks to the simple but well-engineered design.
Overall, there are more expensive makes of watch out there, but if you're not looking for attention, this is a reliable and fun watch that will serve you well in most contexts(save for something like a black tie dinner) for decades.
